Since its release in 2009, WIDE LOAD® has become the benchmark in wide fitting extra depth safety footwear. Designed and developed in Sydney Australia in collaboration with leading orthopaedic/custom made shoemakers and Podiatrists*, the WIDE LOAD® last is based on 6E fitting profile with an additional 8mm of volume of forefoot girth.
Wide Load boots are designed and manufactured with a wide profile steel/composite cap that has been specifically designed to meet the needs of those with wide feet, it is 12-15mm wider and 5mm higher than all safety brands in Australia.
The new airport-friendly composite cap range is lighter than its steel cap counterpart and incorporates high-performance ‘nylon6’ non-metallic lace hardware. The cap provides less transmission of hot and cold while achieving “steel-like” safety for impact and Australian Standards approval. The cap meets all safety standards without compromising comfort.
